Chanel Spring 2023 Ready-To-Wear

Happy Tuesday, friends. We just finished a four day Easter weekend, and it was absolute bliss. We headed out for a wine & clam chowder date, squeezed in a fabulous work-out, cleaned our house, and worked on a few decor projects as well. My fave thing ever, honestly! I’m also, thankfully, starting to feel a bit better after a three week health flare, and I’m hoping that’s the end of it for now. It honestly took the wind out of me. So, having four days off was just what I needed to re-charge and find my groove again.

As for today’s post, I thought it would be fun, and oh-so pretty to share Chanel’s Spring / Summer 2023 Ready To Wear Collection with you. Do you love watching runway shows?… For me, there’s so much nostalgia! Growing up, my dad was a fashion photographer and my mom was a print & runway model in Europe. I loved attending the shows, and travelling, and I’m certain that’s where my love of fashion began.

One of my favourite brands and shows to watch is Chanel, always. The craftsmanship is truly masterful, their classic pieces have the perfect twist, and it’s such a lovely way to get inspired for the season ahead. This particular collection was especially beautiful - light, subtle, and I’m enamoured with Virginie Viard’s unfussy evening looks. I also spotted smaller versions of the Chanel 22 tote, and squealed with delight when I saw Chanel’s glittery cap-toe slingbacks, and grosgrain-bowed crystal booties.
